Know what each output choice tells you
The duration selector concerns the intended playback length. It does not estimate how long the system will take to generate the result. A 5-second clip is not a five-second delivery promise.
Framing and resolution are also different: Portrait, Landscape and Square do not specify pixel dimensions. Read any separate quality or audio information for the request. A voice chosen for a companion does not automatically produce a video's speech, music or lip synchronization.
| Choice or condition | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Length | 5-second and 10-second selections describe clip duration, not generation time |
| Access requirement | Video may need a subscription even when image trial access is available |
| Token cost | Video is listed at 20 tokens; the displayed request total is the amount to review |
| Frame format | Portrait, Landscape and Square concern shape, not a stated pixel resolution |
| Audio features | Plan for sound only if the video request explicitly includes that capability |
Give the clip one action to follow
Prepare the source picture before describing motion. Make sure the subject and relevant surroundings are visible, then decide what should happen during the shot. You can ask for steady framing in ordinary language without assuming a dedicated camera control exists.
- Select Video in the generator.
- Choose the existing character or image that will provide the starting scene.
- Write a concise action brief, including any scene details you want to keep.
- Review the offered duration and format together with access and the token charge.
- After completion, watch the entire video and decide whether a new request is necessary.
Include preparation and retries in your spending decision
The listed individual rates are 2 tokens for an image and 20 tokens for a video. If you make two separate image requests before one video, those rates add up to 24 tokens. That arithmetic describes the listed requests, not a bundle or a guarantee about every variation.
Ultimate's unlimited messages do not pay for unlimited clips. Plan inclusions use the word coins, while generation rates use tokens. Check the account's balance information before estimating media spending, and ask support about an unclear conversion rather than assigning one yourself.
Check more than the opening frame
Watch for unwanted changes across the shot, not just in the thumbnail. Include any available audio in your review. Before using a clip commercially, read the terms: the standard permission is for personal entertainment unless a separate agreement allows another use.
In Recent Generations, use the video filter and select the appropriate My or Everyone view to find a result. Check the output's visibility before sharing it. The name of a view alone does not tell you who can access an individual clip.
Common questions
How many tokens are listed for a DarLink video?
The listed video-generation rate is 20 tokens. Any image you generate as preparation is charged separately at its listed rate, so read each request total before proceeding.
Does DarLink include an unlimited free video allowance?
Do not rely on free unlimited video. The video workflow can require a subscription and has a listed token charge. Use its access notice and account allowance rather than treating an image trial as a video entitlement.
Which clip lengths can I select, and what about resolution?
The selector lists 5-second and 10-second lengths. Check the selection and total for your request. Portrait, Landscape and Square describe framing; they do not establish a particular video resolution.
Can I count on music or dialogue being included?
No audio feature follows automatically from a motion request. Check what the video tool explicitly offers for sound, music and speech; companion voice options do not establish a synchronized soundtrack.
Does NSFW labeling remove restrictions on video content?
No. The service is for adults, and its content rules continue to apply. Requests involving minors, another person's private images or non-consensual sexualization are not authorized by a label. Ask support about an uncertain use before submitting.
Should I send another request while the first video is pending?
Check the original status and balance first. Sending again may create a separate request rather than resolve the first one. Keep the request details and contact support when the result or charge needs clarification.
Can I export a generated video as a GIF?
Check the file format and download options for the completed clip. A short video or a looping preview is not automatically a GIF file. If GIF export is not listed, ask support about the formats available to your account before planning a GIF project.
